About Us
Dr. Martin Lockerd
Martin Lockerd is an Assistant Professor of English at Schreiner University in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, where he lives with his wife and three daughters. He received his Ph.D. in English from The University of Texas at Austin, where he produced his first major Digital Humanities project, the annotated iBook Digital Dorian Gray. His scholarship has appeared in the Journal of Modern Literature, Modern Fiction Studies, and the Yeats/Eliot Review. His first book, Decadent Catholicism and the Making of Modernism is forthcoming from Bloomsbury.
Accessible Eliot began in 2018 as a collaborative project in his class "T. S. Eliot in the Digital Age."
Dr. J. Ashley Foster
Dr. J. Ashley Foster is an Assistant Professor of 20th & 21st-Century British Literature with Emphasis in Digital Humanities in the Department of English at Fresno State. She joined the "Accessible Eliot" project with her Modern & Contemporary British Literature course in Spring of 2019. With students and Special Collections teams, Ashley curated Surveying Utopias: A Critical Exploration Digital Humanities and Special Collections exhibition at Fresno State and Testimonies in Art & Action: Igniting Pacifism in the Face of Total War, a Digital Humanities and Special Collections exhibition at Haverford College. Her work has appeared in The Woolf Studies Annual, Radical Teacher, and The Handbook to the Bloomsbury Group published by Bloomsbury Academic.
